Because of its unique design and its sweet sunset scenery, Cau Hon was named by CNN as the "Kissing Destination", and American Cheddar News introduced it as a new destination for spectacular sunset viewing.
The inner side of the Kiss Bridge (Cau Hon) is engraved with 394 proverbs, poems, and love songs in the 22 most popular languages in the world, even fonts not commonly available from African countries. The bridge's railings are equipped with hidden lights inside, so that when night falls, the entire bridge becomes more sparkling, with a series of sweet words glowing on both sides of the bridge.
Cau Hon (Kissing Bridge) embodies the philosophy of Renaissance art, drawing inspiration from the painting The Creation Of Adam by the Italian painting genius – Michelangelo. In the bridge's silhouette, one also sees an Eastern essence, akin to a bridge formed by a flock of birds in the legend of Ong Ngau, Ba Ngau of Vietnam.
